So i finally found a home for my old vette motor. Gonna be putting the built LO5 into a 89 RS. Anyone have experience with or a preference to a certain brand of motor mount?

I would go with off the shelf poly mounts - you should be able to grab them from autozone.

...even with poly mounts, you're still going to feel a **** load of vibes. Solid mounts are really nice but not that necessary unless you're going balls to the wall imho.
Also, the fact of the matter is you're putting in a LO5 - even if you put in rubber mounts you're going to feel a decent amount of vibrations.
...or you should just man up, get the solid mounts, and just get a nice cushion for your seat
Christ almighty, you'd think that if you put solid mounts in the car it would fall apart with the posts on these message boards.
I ACTUALLY HAVE SOLID MOUNTS ON MY CAR, ITS FINE, just Do NOT use a solid transmission mount, becuase you can break the trans case with them.
No vibrations like these guys speak of.
