...cause it sucks. i just uploaded the upgrade cause i was bored and this thing is so hard to use. i am yet to see any benefits, only programs that don't work and much slower performance. are there any useful benefits?

btw- itunes does not work on this system. nor does my antivirus.

i have it, and overall its OK. its pretty buggy and i can tell that it was rushed. if you want to get it, wait about a year or so.

windows sucks big time. vista is another windows 98. except they fixed the usb support but you have to give up your programs working.

mac is the way to go :)

Vista has the instant search and 3D flip. those are about the only cool things in it. btw im a PC user and yes macs are much more stable and there faster. ever try to open 100 internet explorers? cause i can open 100 Safari and still use every other function on the computer

forget stability, macs are freakin too expensive for me to be carting around in school. besides, mac's customer support blows...

i agree that mac's are better, but they are just not worth it for me. vista is just extra suckage

The upper echelon Macs are definitely more expensive, but not much else comes close in terms of reliability and performance. The more consumer oriented Macs are priced in line (maybe slightly higher in some cases) with comparible PCs. But even still, you get the same software across the board, not 5 watered-down options. As far as customer support goes, who needs it with a Mac? I've been a Mac user for close to 20 years, and have been managing prepress and creative depts. for at least the last 10+, and have never had to call customer support once.
