Had an interesting day w/ the Caddy today...on my way to work I noticed my ability to accelerate was practically nill. Granted, the behemoth will never blow any Ferrari's doors off, but it at least was able to get up to 70 MPH in less than 10 minutes! It was a pretty scary ride in, but I made it. I figured I'd throw caution to the wind and try to drive it home after work, worse case senerio is I break down and call AAA. Welp, it was doing the no acceleration thing, then BOOM! It sounded like a bomb went off in my exhaust system! All I can gather is that my cat musta clogged up, and the backpressure finally blew out some gaskets. After the explosion the car ran better, as the exhaust had a new route to travel. I made it home, and had the wife take me out to pick up the AMX so I have something to drive tomorrow. Geez, I hate working on my beater! :-x
