that in some way im reminded of the worst day of my life...be it looking at pictures, videos, or parts of Tia in my bedroom/garage/shed/wherever, and it just puts a damper on my day.. i cant stop thinking about it, even 4 months later..i just cant let go..anyone who knows me knows the emotional attachment i had to that car..i kept that car looking and running beautifully, i cared more for that car than anyone i know treated theirs, i washed it as often as possible, changed the oil every 2000 miles max..ive dropped thousands and thousands into that car, the majority of it on opti's, probably a good 1200 on them alone lol...im done with school till september...i work 4-5 days a week, so basically i have plenty of free time...time that every summer was devoted to the TA, but will never get to again cuz shes gone...every piece i take out of her feels like im taking apart myself, i was way too involved in that car and its taking its toll..its spring/summer and everyone is getting excited for the summer racing season, except me...cuz im gonna be sitting here not driving something track worthy, surely my jeep would whoop up on 17+ second cars on the strip...but its not gonna be handing 99+ GT's there asses like Tia did, and when she devoured the occasional LS1 she couldnt be happier...but the thing that gets me the worst is, i never drove her to the number she deserved... the 13.8 bone stock run was in great conditions...but at the nats last year in 408* weather i hit 6 or 7 13.9's, with 1 13.89 with similar and a couple better traps...i planned on my 13.5 a couple weeks after atco opened this season, but i didnt get to it...and the worst is ill never know her true potential

I lost my 1st firebird the same way. I cried for days. I think I would still have it today if it wasnt wrecked by some jackass lady in a uhaul truck. 13 yrs later I still think about it and miss it.
