Not once, But Twice!

i started off crappy with a 16.4 and later i felt like i got a good launch and saw the time: 15.344 @89.77 and that made me pretty happy. about a 1.5 hours or so later, i nearly crapped myself when i saw my time: 15.194 @90.54! (theres a 15.18x somewhere in my car, which was actually my best run, but idk where it is)

this was just from intake, exhaust, !cat, !front seat, !spare and jack and a half tank of gas (i filled my tank two days ago, now wish i hadn't  )

with tires/DRs, a stall, 4.10 gears, a tune and slight weight redux i should easily be into the mid 14s

heres the slip:
RT .286
60' 2.261
330 6.384
1/8 9.764 @ 73.07
1k 12.694
1/4 15.194 @ 90.54

[evil laugh] possibly [/evil laugh] id rather have constant power first

after the tires, im probably gonna do LCAs or something else to improve my 60' and then either a 3200 stall or try to find a slightly used rear that has an LSD/posi in it with 4.10s. i think the latter would make more sense to do first.

edit: after looking at my car today im suprised at how little rubber is actually on the wheel well (theres only a little bit on the rear driver's side wheel well, no where else)

:stupid:

You should be able to get a 2.0 60' outta her with some more practice, and that's good for a 14 second slip with no other changes.

the trap speed is there to get you into the 14's now, i would say a mid 14.8 to high 14.7 if you can get the 60' times down a bit.
with the car trapping that well i would suggest making your next mod something traction related, like a good torque arm. it will make the car handle and drive better at the track and on teh street :)

yea i figured if i didnt have a half tank of gas i could of broken into the 14s, the next mods are most likely gonna be good tires,LCAs and then probably a torque arm. we'll see where that gets me. but before i do any of this i gotta pay my mom back the grand or so i owe here
