I put many miles on the Pimp Daddy Caddy today, and it seems to be back to 100 % respectability. All I know is this car BETTER be problem free for A LONG time, 'cause I just put more time, $, and effort into this dayum thing then I have put into some long term restorations! :|

Leaky injectors.

That makes sense. Leaky injectors = too much fuel = way rich = piss-poor performance and fire in the exhaust. Glad to hear you're running smooth again!
