I finally got around to putting the rims on the car. drivers side fit no problem, passenger side required a little hammering. The rim hit the back of the traction bars too, so they had to come off for now.

hey hey hey, lets not get sidetracked here. the thing we're all supposed to talk about is how badass second gens are with huge steamroller tires

you need to get a picture from behind...like 10 feet behind the car

looks good man. what is the offset on those wheels?
btw, if the rim hit the traction bar at only one end on one side, check to make sure the bolt in cups at the front of the leaf springs are tweaked.

the 4x4 stance is because one air shock still has air in it and the other one doesnt

dont worry, I'll get around to dropping it 8)

I'll try to get a pic from 10 feet behind the rear tomorrow after work.

it hit the rear of the T bar on both sides of the car. I think its just because the rims are so big and the T bars are the crappy double U bolt type.

The rims are 17 X 11, with 6 inches of backspacing.

Throw out the traction bars.

Let's give 'ol unstable bob some props here...those wheels woulda been under my late, lamented, 79 T/A. I did the groundwork on 'em, and they fit like a bad azz mofo! 8-)
