I decided to try a different wax to see how well it worked. I like the results and it's not some insane priced wax or polish. It doesn't hide the fine scratches as well as I would have liked, but I'm happy with the results. The paint doesn't look too bad for a 15-25 year old paint job!

Meguiar's Hi-tech yellow wax #26. I heard quite a few people said it worked great on dark color cars so I figured it was worth a try. With a little more prep I think it would look awesome.

I was just thinking about that. I can't take decent pictures at all and my camera isn't anything special either. I'd really like to get some good pictures of both cars so it would really depend on when and where.

Jeff we can go just about anywhere, if you know any good local parks with a scenery it can happen. Just let me know and I'll make a trip down to the area.

dont use "ice" wax on a black car. it says no swirls or anything but thats all i got was swirls and blotches. it works good one lighter colors tho.

#26 is good on darker cars. It actually does do a little fill in with the paint to make it look great. Holds up decent but will need to be reapplied once it gets scrubbed away little by little.
Looks great.
