i figured since it was such a nice day and i didnt have anything to do, i might as well take a drive down to the jersey shore with my friend, more exact being sleezeside. We took the parkway down, and on the express section, like exit 104, I came over a little hill, some would say a little fast. Sure enough a state trooper car was tucked off to the side, as soon as i passed, i saw him pulling out, so i moved into the right lane and slowed to about 50, waiting for him to catch up. He noticed i noticed and finally put his lights on and i pulled over. When he came up to the car, he asked for paperwork and if i knew why he pulled me over. i told him exactly what i did and the speed i knew I was going(he just missed me in triple digits). He was actually smiling and polite. we spoke a bit, he asked if my license was clean, it is, and he went back to his car. A short time later he returned with my paperwork and a written warning, "excessive speed", and sent me on my way. State troopers are stand up guys, all respect to them. My friend was going to use her gold metal PBA card from her dad but i told her no, The cop had seen inside my wallet when i got my lisence out and that was enough.

Anyways, we made it down without any other instances. it an awesome day. Walked on the boardwalk, got a cheesesteak at midway and wandered a bit.

On the way home i came across a 97 Z28 with 3 kids in it, i acknowledged them and then a C5 vette rolled past and i went off to play. unfortunately we never got the chance to play, and he had a NOS license plate frame so i got really excited at first.

well that was my day, so far :-D

nice........

well cops in seaside are not so nice.... i got a ticket for blowing a stop sign that did not exist......by the jug handle to go back down to the main drag where it loops out to the bridge.... he ended up pulling over my friend who was behinde me... i waited up the road for him bout 200 feet and the cop walks all the way up to me and goes.... license and reg, insurance etc... i gave him all that and a stack of 7 pba cards.... he comes back like 20 min. later with a failure to stop at stop sign ticket.. and a warning ticket.... the warning ticket had some scribble on it and i was like whats this he goes... it says "almost t-bone'd a police car".... i was like WHATTTTTT.... (now this is 5 years ago senior prom weekend...i was a 17 year old kid with some hot lil guidette sittin shottie in my camaro convertible with straight pipes).... i was like for starters i got pba cars, there wasss no stop sign, and i almost tboned you cause you pulled out of bushes into oncoming traffic..... he didnt like to hear that.... went to court and got it dissmissed but cost me a few hundred in a lawyer bill....

no matter how polite you are to them some are still asses. i'm always polite to whatever cop pulls me over and i've only gotten out of two tickets, and they were both local cops. (one in wayne and one here in vineland)

But with the way you drive, I'm surprised any cop would let you go with a warning.
