I doub't its all THAT bad, but not the greatest either. Compare it to a 455 at the same era... :shock:

Probably not horrible. Q-Jet and 2.41 or 2.56 gears in some models...

what gears.......stick or auto. ive never measured mine, but imagine its around 15 or less

My 70 SS396 with 3.55 gears just got 15 mpg going out to Carlisle and back. If you drive like a normal person you can get in the teens. If you stomp on it all the time then you will be lucky to get 10 mpg.

I think the motor is a 462 500hp poncho with a demon in bandit 1.The trans is a tremec 5spd and what I heard it got like 20mpg on the highway on the power tour.The other powerplants later will be ls2 600hp bandit 2 , bigger CI pontiac based by butler, pushing 700hp bandit 3.

haha, no i was talking about the original bandit.
i have no intentions on ever buying a year one car... any of them... way out of price range... WAYYYYY out

Then 10-15mpg, depending on a number of variables, is probably in line.
