...my cam install. dots lined up perfect on the first try too! its not all too hard. quite straightforward actually. if you think a cam install is hard, wait till you try poly motor mounts :(
btw- goofy has helped me EVERY step of the way. i owe him my first born. big jon helped me on the rear too. the car should be done by next week (crossing fingers). it just needs to be buttoned up from here.

even though the dots line up, dont you still have to degree it with a degree wheel?

you dont have to. its a good idea, but it can be skipped.

not for this cam. the timing advance is ground into the cam. simply bolt up and carry on

That may be true but, are the cam events happening when they are suppose to happen. The only way to know is to degree it.

yeah but i figure there is at least a very degrees room for error. i'm not concerned with that slight difference with such a medium sized cam. i see what you're saying now. i'm sure i'll be fine :)

can be off +4/-4*...just be careful with tuning it
