THIS CONDITION MAY CAUSE AN INADEQUATE SEAL AT THE CONNECTION, POTENTIALLY LEADING TO A FUEL LEAK. IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE COULD OCCUR.
im not 100% sure, But I think I replaced the stock with a fram like two days before I tried starting it up, then the fire happened..
did the fire start at your fuel filter?

Wow, 22 years later. Jump on it and get another filter. :shrug:

started on the passanger side of the manifold, Not sure where(front or back), but When I put it out, It was all the way by the fuel filter.

FILTER WAS NOT MANUFACTURED TO HONEYWELL'S SPECIFICATION.
READ: Our cheap asses went overseas and we got what we deserve for not taking adequate steps during QC.

You had fire under the whole car? I thought it was just in your engine bay?

fuel filter was on the carb line..
