View Full Version : looking for 93-97 camaro hood

Hey guys, im looking to build a few hoods for camaros, and need a hood that nobody needs or can sell real cheap. I work at Viking yatchs in the mold making department ( R&D as its betterknown) and after being shown how to make molds, i wanna try to see if I can make a few hoods at the homestead. If you havea hood, it cant have any dents around the edges and must be off a 93-97 camaro. all the good hoods are for the 98+ so i decided to make something my own way. if this workd, expect me to take a few requests, but I have to buy some ofthe stuff thru work like gel coat an glaze finish, so and i hae a small budget for this as of right now and dont want to spend too much if i did something wrong, but yeah if you got a spare hood or wanna sell one real cheap ( and I mean like 30-50 bucks) let me know. Ill post a few designs up later when im done making them, but basically I want to have the heat extractor like on the Camaro LM racecar on GT4, and maybe a NACA duct or two. thanx

if you can get that 1 dent outta the corner you can have the hood on mine free

bubba, did I not say in my original post that it cant have any dents around the outside. it can have dings over the area of the hood, but not the edges.

dude i'll definitely buy a hood like that one in GT 4... it's nice as hell... how much would you be selling them for? like an approximate...

well, right now I gotta order some of the products from my work, but i get all the free fiberglass I want, as well as I can order carbonfiber and kevlar from work, but C.F. requires it to be cooked in an oven. anyways, I gotta see how much itll run me in the end and if its worth making more, if so, maybe like 300-500 im thinking. Im gathering the products this week at work, and have sent a PM to procamaroz28. Im figuring this will become available around late july-early august.
