July Monthly Meet - Central

[NJSPEEDER]

The summer central meet means only one thing, time to make the trip back to Duke Island Park!!!
We will be set up to do some BBQ on Sunday, July 29th. Bring some food and beverages for yourself and to share. There is no alcohol allowed at this meet, park comission policy.
Along with the no alcohol rule, our usual "no burnouts or jackassing around" rules apply as usual. If anyone has any volleyball or frisbees or any other fun park games they wouldlike to share, please bring them.

As usual it'll be a last minute decision for me. Might be shipping the family out to the midwest again, leaving on that weekend.

Can we try to find a place to have fun thats not thrown way the heck out to the corner of the park? We're tame enough that we shouldn't bother anyone, and any ricer that shows up to show off doing burnouts, needs to be closer to the populated areas so the cops can find em faster. :)

untamed - i was surprised a few weeks ago when i made the reservation they actually only had a few groves left unreserved. last year it was a much later decision and we had our pick. at least we are in a spot that everyone should be able to keep an eye on the cars while we are BBQ'ing :)

You don't need to bring an F-body, just come out and hang out. People keep missing the point that you don't need to bring your F-body to the meets. It's a chance to meet the other people on the board. And it looks like I won't have a chance to make chili thanks to extra work. I'll bring some pork roll, cheese and rolls. We had the meet at the wettest spot in NJ today and we still had a good turnout! What I ate today at the meet:

4. Apple cake (which B64C continued to eat as we drove home in blinding sunlight :scratch: )

Now that is what I call 3 square meals & dessert.

Within 10 mintues of leaving, it was very sunny. I got home, threw the chairs & umbrellas in the driveway to dry, put my tools away, took the Z for a 1/2 hour ride, got Ritas. WTH was with that rain???? :lol:
