there was another thread on this a week or so ago, but I talked to a few people and that letter at the end of the video was either bogus or isnt going to get very far. The FAA was at the filming, so obviously there was permission to fly lower than whatever standards are set. Not sure if the letter was put at the end of the video for shock value or if its real. Regardless, there are no problems that came about from the filming..

and here's that video again.. after hearing what people had to say about it, i wish i was there.

that is a pretty cool video, the letter at the end is stupid. anyone who has been to atco and the surrounding area knows that there is a swamp after the shut down area and a forest on the other side of the road behind the start line. i dunno what houses the plane could have been flying too ow over, unless he maintained low altitude for a few miles before or after the track area, which i doubt.

That's pretty awesome. Every once in a while they have a race at airshows where a plane will race a car on the runway. Onetime I saw a jet plane race a jet truck. That was insane!

tim......theres houses in the woods right across from the track......if you go past the entrance, there is a street across from the second entrance, if you turn down it it goes back a couple hundred yards and then there is houses and more streets to the left....
