Hell one time I took a WAWA run and on the way back some prison guards were riding my a**. so I would slow down they would go to pass and I would stomp IT in the 91 dynasty. I passed the house at like 98mph :rofl: side by side with a F-250. when I finally let them pass the guy in the passenger seat gave me the stink eye so he got the finger. i used to get pretty bad road rage. then i realized that it didnt matter what i said or thought behind the wheel and the only person it mattered to was me. yelling profanities at your steering wheel and throwing your hands up in the air and out the window accomplishes nothing. im usually a pretty fast driver, but if someone decides to tailgate me on the highway, i move over.. easier for me, easier for them. if i come up on someone going to slow in the left lane, i wait.. the extra 30 seconds that they're wasting of my time isnt gonna make me any later than i already usually am.

i only get really pissed off when people do really stupid things like blow stop signs right in front of me or dont yield etc...or when they go 10 under the limit in the left lane as 2000 people pass them on the right and they still dont get the god damn hint...usually this person has PA or NY plates

the first step to recovery is identifying that you have a problem.

i had road rage bad when i was younger. i mean, come to a stoplight and get out of the car ready to ***** someone up road rage. i'm better now.

i guess what really made me realize i had a problem was when i was driving with my wife once, some assclown pulled a left in front of me, so i called him a jerkoff. he said, you don't want me to pull over (summer time, windows down, route 70 in brick, nj) and i said, yes i do. we both pulled over. cooler heads prevailed and no blows were thrown, all i kept thinking was that if i somehow lost the fight, he might go do something to my wife. it was a startling realization.

i still curse occasionally, but it has to be something pretty stupid and/or dangerous to get me fired up now.
