My friend from California is visiting me and my friends for the holiday, so I loaned him my 86 for the duration that hes here.
Well, I was relaxing after a nice day at work, when he calls me asking if my drivers side door was dented. I said ... "Noooooooo... why?????"
He was visiting his fathers friend that lives in Bensalem, and as hes asking me this, an old lady across the street came outside and said she backed into it.
I know the car isn't pretty, but I wasn't planning on fixing dents. I got a spare set of doors from a 87 GTA I parted out, so its not that big of a issue. (Thats why I told him not to worry about getting a report or nothing). But its still the principle of the thing.
Hes on his way back here currently, so I'll take a few pics when he gets back.

OK, here are pics. Now should I still have her insurance look at it?? If a report is written, does that go on record with my insurance???

If a report is filed it can be made a "non-reportable" report but that kind of defeats the purpose since youd be making the report FOR the insurance company. I'd try to get the woman to pay a couple bucks without going through insurance and then calling it a day

Yea, I'll get all her information and call them ....
You know, I really dont care cause its a door that I have a spare of, but then .... I do care cause of the lack of competance that a lady between 80-90 years old still has a PA drivers license but yet, cant negotiate her own drive way. Apparently, shes hit her fence numerous times, and also hit the fence in route to hitting my car.

trust me on this one
i got the been there done that shirt times two (that's how i finaced my first firebird  )
get an estimate and see if she will pay it outright.... or go through her insurance
without a police report there is no requirement for her to pay so be careful
