Only 312hp? Ah well, the nostalgia is there: http://www.mustangevolution.com/20070514410/

well they did the same thing last time, took a green stang, gave it a shiney gas cap, removed the spoiler and stuck some regular wheels in a darker color on it and call it a day

Kind of like the 'new' Willys Jeep a couple of years ago. Forest green paint and black steel wheels do not make it an MJ.

my friends got one of the "willys" and its pretty good, camo seats, green steel wheels, green softtop, all the outside plastics and trim are green.

From what I hear the original one was no beast, either. They had to detune the Charger because it kept catching up to the Mustang during the big chase.

eh, still looks cool at least...plus its got 3.73s instead of whatever they come with stock, and an x-pipe so it probably sounds pretty sexy

I thought they tuned the Mustang up and left the Charger alone for the movie. Either way, the 390 GT wasn't the fastest Mustang, but once you put Steve McQueen behind the wheel of a car, it becomes legendary.

The 390 GT sounded amazing. And The '01-'02 Bullitts had a good sound to them, too.

Lets see the 2008 F-body.. Wait there is none... Nice looking car, 3.73 gears plus tons of stuff from the aftermarket companies.
Lets hope the dealers don't go nuts with the mark up.

They modified the GT but left the Charger stock aside from tuning... I seem to remember seeing it on AMC or something like that.

Bill Hickman was a far better driver than Steve McQueen. This may have had something to do with it too.

they used 2 muskrats for Bullit. one was a 390 auto, the other 289 stick.

I'm not gonna lie but I do like the looks of this car. I've always been a fan of the Bullitt cars. And the newer Stangs with a nice exhaust sound amazing!

The picture isn't official. Ford still has yet to release what it's going to look like. But from what I've read they have a few Bullitt cars built, so we may see some leaked photos soon.
