if the optispark isn't broke, I wouldn't mess with it yet. Ho wmany miles are on the car?
I would just do plugs and wires for now.

theres 106,000 on the car.. actually today i cleaned out the mass air sensor cause my buddy had a stang that had the same issue and we cleaned his mass air and it ran soo much better.. i did that today and its runing a lot better.. yea my uncle is a mechanic and he said the same thing.. to just do the plugs and wires for now and see if that helps and just replace the opti when it goes
Take a look at the water pump and try to see if it's leaking. If so replace that before it kills the opti. I wouldn't worry about wire until you do headers though. They're VERY difficult to run in the factory location with exhaust manifolds. When you get headers, however, you can run an "over the valve cover" wire loom that runs the wires up over the valve cover, which is MUCH easier than trying to run them the way they are now.

my pump is not leaking so that is good.... like i said the mass air was dirty i cleaned it and now its soo much better but its still bogging a bit... i was saving up for a cat back but now i think ill have to do some other stuff... 90 degree elblow is cracked and cut liek crazy so i saw one on slp for like 75 bux.. is that a good deal? my buddy said my car might be bogging cause its runing lean cause its bringing air in past the mass air with the cut elbow.. and my k&n cold air kit is just crap and wont even stay together anymore.. im going to break down and buy a new one.. andthing out there cheap??.. slps is like almost 300!!.. o and would i get benifets id i get awhole new mass air flow? if so what good?
edit: its bogging when i go like a little pass half throttle to full i have a new fuel pump so....?? i hope its just the elbow

A ripped elbow will cause tons of problems. You can find a used stock elbow on Camaroz28.com for ~$20-30. As for a cold air intake, if you're even the slightest bit handy you can fabricate your own using stuff from home depot for about 40-50 bucks. After those two issues are fixed I would do a seafoam treatment...all that unfiltered air getting in is gunna gunk the crap out of the intake manifold, more so than normal. A good bit of seafoam will have that car running much better with a good elbow and sealed intake setup.
