i'm kinda in a dilemma as to which subscriptions to renew, since having 5 plus whatever else i pick up on the newsstand each month is way too many magazines to read inside of 30 days. i think i'd like to cut 2 titles from the list, and since i can't make up my mind, i'll let you guys do it for me. just choose three out of the five that are your favorite. at the end of the poll (30 days) i'll choose whichever ones were the highest rated as the ones to renew and let the others slide.

that's good, then, since camaro performers is a rehash of articles from three mags: super chevy, hot rod and chevy hi. i think camaro performers is still a quartlery rag, every three months. maybe when the new camaro comes out they will have enough material to go monthly.

For technical information you cannot beat Chevy High Performance. I've got every issue from the last 5 years at home and I regularly go back to them for information.

Jim,

Why no subscription to Car Craft?

that's the one i left off of the list because it's not an option. it will continue without interruption.

I love car craft just because they usually have a much more laid back attitude. the first car mag I ever read cover to cover was car craft. I think it was the july 1999 issue. had a 69 camaro pulling a HUGE wheelstand on the cover.

Off the above list; Hot Rod, Chevy High Performance, Hemming's. I also read Pontiac High Performance and, Car Craft.

looks like (unless something really weird happens) it'll be chevy hi, hot rod and hemmings. good choices, and among the ones i always read cover to cover. i like the other two, or i would never have subsribed to them, but i am getting sick of the step-by-step instructions for some things i will never do, or will do but don't read the instructions.

Car craft is the best car mag evar. I'd suggest GM High-Tech performance, or Camaro Performers to check out.

:stupid: Only I think my collection is at least 7 or 8 years old. My mom and now my wife don't understand the need to keep all the back issues though....they keep trying to get me to throw them out.
