I am selling my 97 Ford Escort. As you can see in the pictures, the car is in pretty good shape. Only flaws on the car are on the front and rear bumper, minor scrapes and scuffs. Other than that, the car is completely immaculate. The car has a 5 speed transmission and the clutch is in good working condition, doesn't slip at all. The tranny changes gears pretty smooth, none of them grind. The car has had two owners, and the oil has been changed every 2-3k miles religiously. I have driven the car about 15,000 miles over the past year commuting back and forth to Rowan Univ. The AC works great, better than any car I have ever had. The car also has a 6 disc CD changer/player. Car has good inspection for another year or so, and it will have no problem passing again. It doesn't smoke, stall, or stumble. There are also no rips or burns in the upholstery. There are some stains on the driver and passenger carpet, but those can be covered with floor mats. Asking price is $2800 OBO. NADA high value at $3200. Here are some pics. Any questions feel free to ask.

Dave

I wouldn't even really call this car a beater, the title was kinda a joke. The car is actually quite nice for what it is, I would venture to say you could get an easy 50k more miles out of this car, if not more. How much is your price range? If I were in the market, I'd rather spend more now for something that will last, as opposed to buying junk now, and again later, etc. Either way, let me know. Take it easy.

Somebody has to know someone looking for a car like this. This car is extremely reliable and will definitely make someone happy. You can't find a car in this kind of shape for under 3k.

That's why I took my Z28 off the road and bought this for gas mileage. I knew driving from vineland to Rowan every day would kill me. I saved TONS of money on gas, and now I will be able to buy an LS1 next spring.

Do it, I sold my camaro when I went to rowan, glad I did. You stuff will get messed up their, dumb people who cant drive and drunk people who dont care about peoples ****. Buy a beater and ull be better off, trust me. Plus in college nobody really cares if u have a fast or nice car so a beater is no big deal.
