If you have old oil, antifreeze, gas, or other HAZMAT stuff, today is the day - bring it down to the Bergen County Utilities Authority for recycling, located off Rt. 17 at the end of Moonachie Ave past Teterboro Airport.

That's my PSA for the day. I gotta get rid of a bunch of oil/antifreeze from when I disassembled my old 305, and I have two old house thermostats with mercury in them that gotta go too. I figured a bunch of you car guys would have stuff like that around your houses too, might as well get rid of it for free instead of paying a gas station to take it.

See, this is a good way to save the environment, instead of those whiners in Washington bitching about global warming.

Exactly!

The shame of it is that they make it so hard to dispose of certain things that people just pour fluids down a sewer or throw trash off of the side of the highway.

That's awesome. My town takes it year round, but you have to pay $1/gallon to dispose it. And, they don't take antifreeze or any other junk. I'm back already, and it was super quick and not hard to find. They're there until 3PM if anyone else needs to go.
