I'm lookin for a dyno tune place for my 96 lt1... i have a pcmforless tune in now but its crap and lost alot of its functions "in transit" so i doubt even the tuning stuck at this point!!

problem is the only way ive seen to tune this car is with lt1edit which i wouldnt know where to begin to tinker with outside of gears/tranny basic settings, no spark timing **** for me :)

i was planning on getting lt1edit then bringing it on my laptop to a place that does normal dyno tuning and having them work with the software.... but that of course is under my previous asumption that its the only way to tune the car... is this not true?

my biggest problem is that pcmforless sent me a generic replacement ecu out of an aztec, and the vin number in the computer still ****in comes up in my scanner as a aztec... i'm guessing ill never pass inspection like that!!! not to mention if i buy lt1edit ill have to register it to my vin number, so i assume you cant use the software to change it, which means im beat.

i'm in long branch which is a few miles south on the ocean from sandy hook, closer the better ;)
