I just saw someone on Bloomfield ave in Verona / Montclair border heading towards Montclair. I was at the light and they went over the hill by Dante Tuxedo and I never saw them so I don't know if they turned down one of the side streets.

I thought someone here had blue flames but thought they lived out west but not sure.

btw haven't you been here for 2 months and only made 8 posts? To my knowledge it's now either the 2nd or 3rd time his car has been mentioned, and after seeing the car in person it's for good reason.

You know I was gonna say that, but I cant really think of a nice set of rims that would go on it.

Ok first of all, my aunt bought the car brand new in 96', she was told that they applied some teflon-type paint to it, or some sort of teflon coating, which would explain why its shined so well for the past 11 years without a problem ( im not sure if they really did that at all, this was coming from the dealers mouth, does anybody know if they did do that?) so if it is on there, thats how it came from the factory. I have the realization that my car isnt fast, unlike other people who blew 3 grand on parts for something thats been, god, what 5-6 months now? and still isnt running, and is still not gonna be fast. so I made it look good, just look at alex's photos, my car is super sweet, and continue to constantly get compliments on how well it looks.and when you get your head out of your ***, and listen to everybody around you when they say your car is crappy, and that it'd be better off in a junkyard, you'll realize that you spent your money stupidly, and could of bought a z28 wiht that money. you say the teflon thing like its a bad thing, if anything, your *** should be envious to want to have a car like that. and same goes for my road, sorry one ends dusty, i choose not to go down it cause i try to make my car look and stay nice. so before you blow another 3 or more grand on a flame paint job, you gotta spend 4 grand on fixing those dents and rattle can paint job on your whip. your nothign more then an F-body noob. a-hole

o0o well excuse me for trying some thing different with my car. one I get the engine strait I'd like my car to look nice...and who said anything about flames. I said I was gonna have him do my car...not copy the scheme. So what if a few people think my cars a P.O.S. I'm the only one who knows that car inside out. Besides I bought the car to have a project to work on, I wanted to do something new with it and sense V8 swaps are fairly common I wanted to toy with what I got. and its $1900 so far...get it straight before you come at me with your holier than thou attitude. BTW do you remember showing me that thread on the 3400 swap...yea...its one thing to take a nice car and make it nicer...its another to take a dump and turn it into something worth having.

something different? as in the only one in the world to do it? what about that guy from cali thats on camarov6.com that was on here. didnt he do all that to his car? the smart thing to of done was to of bought a spare block to do all your work on so you could of drove your car around, and bought the parts moderatly overtime. V8 swaps actaully arent that common due to the fact that for the same price in the end you could of just bought a V8 car. Yea Id like to puta V8 in my car, but if it would be anything, it'd be an LS1, but since I dont have the money, nor the time, ill just drive it the way it is, and worry about that stuff towards the winter when the car is on the downtime. and to be honest, what do you know about your car that we dont. its a V6 F-body, nothing different to it, so basically we all know your car inside out. As for you spending 1900, you told me your money was all gone, infact you always preach on here about how you have no money. if so then whered the other 1100 go? I am not holier then thou, im just better then you lol. and yes I showed you that site. I thought you might of taken a few points off of it, so you could find out what would happen if you just put a cam in it, or fenagle with it a little. Im glad you want to redo the whole engine, from top to bottom, but you should of been way more situated wiht it before you ripped out the motor. adn your quote at the end, yeah its worth buying a piece of crap and miaking it worth somethign having, but it takes more money to do that then having a nice car and making it nicer.

I meant my car particularly...ever car is a little different from the next...especially after 180,000 miles. I know MY CAR better than you know MY CAR...just as you know YOUR CAR better than anyone else. Yes Black34v6 did it first but I'm going quite a bit into it than he did and you can ask him your self. I'm taking 3.4 engine work further than anyone else. and yes making my car nice will cost more money...but it will be far more satisfying than just slapping some pretty wheels and vette decals on it, not that it don't look good, besides what better car to replace every thing on than a car that needs damn near every thing

Blacdout96
08-12-2007, 08:41 PM
nah, I know your car, cept the engine, other then that, chassis, brakes, interior, exterior, fuel mangament, and other things are the same as my car, cept smaller motor, adn a few doo dads to make the 3.4 work in it. I think anybody who knows F bodies well could loo kat my car and know it just as well as the next. far more satisfying then slapping vette stickers and rims on it? boy, thats where your wrong. My car is more then just slapping some stickers on it. Ill out corner your *** anyday, and im sure a few more tricks to my car would still beat your car anyday. jsut put that 3.poor back together and name the time and track and ill smoke you like a cigarette. my car is a piece of history more then anything. how many people can say their GM car was autographed by carroll shelby. my car is worht the work put into it, even if it is a V6.

You still don't get what I'm saying...why don't you stop sniffing paint fumes and drooling on yourself long enough to f'n understand a few sentences. you have to make the 1-2 shift in my car a certain way with the B&M or she'll catch, you didn't know that. after you change the bater of have it disconnected you have to through a switch and press a button under the dash. do you get what I mean now. Now as far as the bold words do you remember why you still have the 3000GT? you have your reasons for why you want to put money in your cars and I have mine, if you can't respect that why the hell should I. So why don't you come down off your high horse for a minute and ad up all the money you've put into the car, the only difference is I did it all at once. And as far as getting the corner fixed and a nice paint job...WTF is wrong with that???

Blacdout96
08-13-2007, 07:28 PM
well your trans is crapping out on you, remember whenI changed your fluid and it looked like metallic paint coming out, yeah thats usually not a good thing. if you had a decent trans that would shift properly with a good clutch in it, you wouldnt have that problem. The reaons why I still have the 3000GT is cause its not worth selling cause of how far apart it is. i could put it back together, but I dont have the reason to. I can respect someone when they want to do something with their car, but I CANNOT respect someone who thinks he's gonna stay with or beat Z28's with his car when his horsepower and torque specs are still nowhere near that of V8 after he's done with the mods. You speak too much out of your *** and it annoys the hell out of everyone, congrats on tryign to do something wiht your car, but shut up if your gonna talk smack that youll beat somethign way out of your league. and im glad you put my one sentence in bold writing, cause its damn true.
