Haven't heard much about it the past few years. Just wondering if anyone still goes.

If your just going there to see the people doing burnouts on the streets thats history they have state police on every corner no lie. But they still have classic cars up on the boardwalk from nearly end to end. there is no more burnout contest, no flamethrowing car competion, no dyno in the parking lot out front of the convention center. basically its going to fade away to maybe 1/4 of the crowd that it was 5 years ago.

I just wanted to take a buddy there thats never been. He can't make it to the Ocean City, Maryland show so I thought I'd try Wildwood. Sounds like the 3 hour drive isn't worth it, though. Thanks for the heads up.

Over the last few years its gotten progressively worse, with them eliminating all the good stuff as previously stated. Now cops roam around every corner and less and less cars seem to come each year. Truthfully, to come 3 hours I really don't know if its worth it anymore... I mean if the weather is right and you wanna come down, sure do it. But remember it will be bump-to-bumper traffic down the whole way, figuring if its a great weekend weather wise and then the show will be so-so.

not worth it anymore. if the weather is good, then at least there are other things you can do once you get down there. otherwise, i would choose something closer to the house. since it's only an hour or so from my place, i make it at least once a year, but to travel three hours - i don't know.
