the war between man and machine has begun

my saturn did that the other day, i had it on cruise and i tapped the accel button to pass a car...and it kept accelerating like i was holding the button, downshifted and everything

neons dont have mad tyte flip up headlights

Exactly..... the neon is built for extreme aerodynamics which allows it to go faster than the speed of light!!!!!

“Twice, on July 29, 2007, our 2006 Toyota Prius took off like a rocket in circumstances just like Herbert's wild ride in Michigan last October,” Irwin in Studio City, California writes.

Did you know that last year Toyota recalled more vehicles than they produced? Or that the Tundra leads the pickup market in recalls?

I am thinking it wasn't uncontrallable as in tough for a person to handle, rather there was no way to control it, like the accellerator or brakes not working. Kinda like "The goggles, they do nothing!"
