:evil: OK I'm pissed of beyond all reason cause last night I decided to see who was crusin' from the 5th ave WaWa in Galloway. When I got there there was more rice there than a Tokyo supermarket...about 7 civics, and the retarded vert civic(forgot the name) and a few integras chillin in my spot. Now the cop that usually patrols over there was cool as hell with the V6 'stangs and a few F-bodies I used to cruse with, and I seen him sittin in his car. and there were cops all over the WaWa. So I found out these damn ricers are using the spot to meet up and go street racing. this one kid was talking all kinds of ***** on American cars cause a 440 'Cuda rolled in and lit up the tire on the way out. Like were seriously talking about the typical ricer drool at the fast car and talk **** when he leaves. So of course I had to make myself known and had a little punk azz tell me his civic could take the 'cuda cause its to heavy and he has 200hp. :rofl: So I got a bit heated and told him I'll run you with out a tune at Atco in about a month, "we don't run on the track" so I said cause you know I'll hand you your as in a bow tied gift bag. WORD FOR WORD "Rear wheel drive cars can't hook as good. I'll take you of the line so hard you'll never catch up" So In a about a month I'm going to have the Camaro running even if it takes every dollar I have, and I'm going to hand to at Atco. Anybody down to kick some ricer azz. UBG I know you wanna bust out on these fools.

I've dealt with some ricers in TR like that. I beat this white civic hatch with a H23 motor (not too sure what that is but he said he had vtec) and he was telling me it was b/c his 02 sensor was plugged in which cuts his horsepower in half and that when he takes it out it doubles.So we went to race again when he claimed he took the 02 sensor out and I launched and spun my tires and then I flew up on him he pulled over right away when I started passing him and said his car stalled and he could'nt have an actual race because something was wrong with it.He then went on to say he's beaten new GTO's :rofl:

I love that part about rwd cant hook as good as fwd............thats just plain stupidity. The weight of the car transfers from front to back. So how the hell is that fwd car gonna hook up with alot of power.........nothing can beat rwd and a nice pair of fat slicks haha

ricers never wanna run at a track cuz its actually fair and they cant BS anything. two of my friend's friends (who both own civics) wanted to race me and i was like lets go to atco and one was like ok, on the day i was gonna go i told him and he was like i cant i have my g/f with me! and made other lame excuses, so he sat in his car with her and huffed nitrous out of his NOS tank! :lol: the other one wouldnt race me at the track, and he's blown up three civics in 2 years :rofl:

a non forced induction tune usually runs about $150-250, usually depends on who does it.

Well..... you probably just met half of my working staff at Viking. any of them spanish bubba? i would of schooled him on the cuda and not focused on calling him out, if he wanted to race hed be the one callign out not you, and get their numbers next time to call them up and go where you at? when your at teh track waiting for them. some people dont see beyond 200hp, and what I mean by that is 200 is a high number for them, seriously. when your in a light car, they think that they know power to weight ratio, but theres other aspects as well. areodynamics, and torque too. I went to Atco last night and left cause the beaner drags were there. they take forever to wind up the rotary's and stall all the friggin time on the line, theres no torque what so ever. plus after a certain speed, aero plays a part, and their using a 1980 corolla....not very smoooth if you ask me. so instead of calling them out, looking like a hero, if he really has the speed and determination to beat a car he's never seen, let him be the one to call you out, if he doesnt, show up again and keep pestering him to you finally get him to call you out.

more than that they need to learn about the one thing they CANT stop talking about...and that is the VTEC engine. Now dont get me wrong....im actually impressed by the vtec...i think its a very creative idea to get that type of raw power out of such a small engine. However, they throw this word around so loosley and an extrremely small percentage of them have even the slightest clue of what it stands for, what it does, and how it works:-x

and its real sad when i have to try and explain it to them...but i dont bother because they know everything

I may have mentioned this somewhere else on this forum but the word on the grapevine is that GM plans to have a VVT system on the next generation of LSX engines using dual through-block cams, one over the other.

I cant wait til they develop electric valves...then the skys the limit!

They should do what F1 cars do, not run on springs at all. they run on pneumatic valves, their pushed by computer controlled hydrualics cause springs couldnt take 18-20,000RPM's. Theres a few engines out there that dont have cams at all, the valves open when the computer says its time!!
