HCCI engine (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2007/08/gm_hcci.html) sips fuel like a diesel, but without the sooty exhaust.

wow, whoever wrote that really needs to dislodge their image of diesel from the 50's. modern diesels have lower emissions than most of their gas counter parts, have a longer service life, and get better mileage.

izuzu diesel LOL real trucks rattle, i rather be cummin then strokin, etc lol duramax is a nice diesel but i rather hear my diesel
edit: after reading that article all they did was find a way to use compression ignition on a gaser. i remember all that stuff from my diesel class
