SUCK! It took me an hour and a half to pick out which running shoe I wanted at footlocker, they all felt weird on my heal, but I felt they fit the best, I just ran 2 miles in them and on the last 1/2 mile lap between the pain from my ankle and the pain from the zooms I had my foot fall asleep/numb.. On top of the pain they make, they look like total fruitcakes and now I have to wear them everyday, and get another set of running shoes. I am not happy. Other then that 2 miles wasn't hard to do, I recommend everyone to get off their *** and go jog.

you know shoes have to break in and conform to your foot, right?
yeah, wear the shoes around for 2 weeks or so and then try running in them. I bet they will feel a lot better.
I have a pair of adidas trail running shoes and they feel more comfortable now than when I first tried them on.

make sure you dont have them too tight. if you do it will give you foot cramps and hurt around your ankles.

are you using the shoes jsut for running or are they your everyday shoes? there is a running store in princeton that carries brands that are actually for running. nike shoes are junk, they don't have good support and they wear out too fast.

Yeah, right now Im using it for both, since apparently I "didnt break them in enough" Im going running in 4 minutes Ill let you know if, wearing them all day "breaking them in" helped If they start to hurt, ill stop and loosen them up, cause thats another suggestion.
jesus if they are a few weeks old already and they still arent comfortable, give the hell up

Do you have wide feet or anything like that? Different brands of shoes are made differently, so just because you wear a size 12 Reebok doesn't mean a size 12 Nike will fit the same.

Yea, I can't wear Nike shoes - they are made too narrow for my feet. I usually rock some form of adidas crosstrainer or new balance 470s (when not wearing the jesus creepers).

i had brooks, hated them, had sauconey and blah, love the asics

Right now I'm doing 2 miles in about 45 minutes, Im trying to get down to the army's slowest time for my age which is 20 minutes flat. I can do the minimum push ups, I'm not sure about the sit ups. But, I also have to cut alot of weight, and the scales haven't changed BUT my coach, and a few others have noticed a difference in my appearance. Im dreading going out and running right now because of the shoes.
But I think it might be because i have wide feet, So i cant wait to get a new pair!
christ i do 2 miles in 12 and a half minutes
i think i can hobble 2 miles in 45 minutes

the guys at teh running store will take the time to check hwo you walk and run and how your feet are shaped. they really know what they are doing and every employee is a runner themselves, so you aren't dealing with whatever smack showed up that day like at the mall.

good 4 you, I'm not running on a track I'm doing hills. I don't really care how well and fast some one else can run. I'm not pushing my self for obvious reasons, not trying to over do it, or injure my self, since hockey season starts soon.
its hurts to run because you're too fat, simple as that. Your obese body is not used to have such a shock (running), so it hurts. If i put on 150+ pounds on myself and went for a jog i would bet my legs, ankle, and anything else that absorbs the shock of running would hurt. Don't blame the shoe, blame yourself.
Right now I'm doing 2 miles in about 45 minutes,
you're NOT running.
An average person walks 3 mph, that means it will take him 20 minutes to walk a mile. 2 miles will take 40 minutes, obviously. Are you saying that you run slower then an average walker?

edit,
And no, It doesnt hurt to run in my addidas. other then when the track is hot and my feets burn.

LOL! I guess It hurts to do wall sits, Bench, push ups, jumping jacks, bleachers, Play hockey, stub my toe, get stitches, get stuff in my eyes, etc etc, because I'm big?
Your the dumbest mother ****** ever man. Like I said, I have ran In skate shoes, and never felt something like this, never ever have my foot fell asleep because of the pain. PLUS you carry on and on and on about fat people in America but when a fat person is doing stuff to get in shape you have to put them down and make them sad. see you in hell tough guy.
