As some of ya know, something went wrong with the 327 in the Chevelle. It started making some god aweful noise on the top end (its definitely either somthing with the cam or distributor, Ill find out when I get in there), so I decided it was time to pull the motor and put some different parts in it that I have been wanting to do for a while. It will also give me time to do some other odds and ends in the engine compartment that I never got to do, like get the headers coated, and fill some unused holes on the firewall. Not to mention I will be doing my 4speed swap now also. Here is round 1 of the parts. New Cam, lifters, pushrods, balancer, and timing chain. Also not pictured is a Weiand single plane intake manifold, and a 750 Holley Double-Pumper. Sorry for the photo quality. Once my sister finds her digital camera Ill get some better pics.

Next will be the clutch, blow proof bellhousing, a new distributor, and a new rubber kit for the front suspension, along with shocks. That will be ordered tomorrow or Saturday...
