I still have some minor adjustments to make, but I'm surprised how well it fits.

One more surprise...finally got the hatch tinted with 5% and put on the njfboa sticker

tough crowd lol I've always liked them on the 3rd gens. Anyway, I was thinking of painting the scoop silver/grey like the iroc-z decal but Alex did a couple of photoshops and I'm iffy on it. I'll most likely paint it all black. I found this car off TGO which is the closest I found to mine. His is dropped 1" and he has different wheels. When its all done it should look similar...

I like the new hood. Get it painted quickly. There is nothing worse than a car with an unpainted hood.

off topic: are you gonna drop it?

Teds89IROC

I was considering dropping it an inch, but I was looking closer today and I don't think I'll have enough clearance for the long tube headers and y-pipe

my guess is hacking up the floorpan and then doing custom headers that tuck into the newly formed floor

i got the third gen koni shocks on my car and they are amazing. i'll take you for a ride if i ever see my car again. they have two perch mounting spots to adjust ride height with stock springs. its a good compromise cause it only lowers the car between .5-.75 of an inch. and even more impressive is that my car drives so nice now. i can EASILY say it was the best mod i did on my car. i'll show you when the car comes back. the ride quality and handling speaks volumes.

Very interesting, definitely going to consider those. Even if I dropped the front the .75 of an inch and the back only say .5 or less, because it's mostly my y-pipe, I-pipe that hangs the lowest, that would be great.
