but this site (http://www.classiccarsrotting.com/) will rip your heart out, julienne it, deep fry it, eat it and then **** it out. i've been without a heart since i first saw the site, and i feel the twinge of pain where my heart used to be everytime i look at it.

I remember the "Rear Man", Art Houser having a bunch of classics outside of his warehouse/shop that were just sitting there. SS Impalas and stuff like that. I don't know what happened to them all after he died.

not sure if i want to take you up on that or not... seeing pics is one thing, seeing it in person might actually cause me physical damage.
just out of curiosity, is anything there for sale? nice thing about the site i posted is that everything's for sale, so if you do want to salvage something you can. problem is, the weather having done it's sneaky, silent sabotage, there really isn't enough left of most of them to even think about a restoration. i might think about one of the older camaros, just for the firewall with the trim tag and vin attached, to throw a dynacorn body on...

a long time a go they were for sale. I remember seeing the website about five or six years ago and they were selling some of the cars. I know they stopped for a while. I you are looking to rescue some old cars to restore them, there a place on Ebay that will be doing a live auction of over 500 cars and trucks from the 30s through the 70s on the 29th. heres the link;

check out all the trucks they have listed. They all start at $250. Can't beat that! Plus, if you look at all the stuff he has, you won't find some of those again for a while. Group purchase? :lol: Maybe we can rent a huge car hauler and bring all our cars and trucks back with it :lol:

Sometimes you can get one real cheap. I got my '55 Ford F-250 for $175. It had every option available, and only 36,000 original miles :D

I just checked out his inventory and it turns out I talked to that guy back in April. When I was deciding what project to pick up next, one of his trucks was in the final collection;

It was between that, the Belvedere, and a few others.

thanks for the headsup. the only thing holding me back is that they want a credit card as part of their "application" process. not sure why they would want one, as there is no mention of one being needed prior to the space they provided to put the number in. seems just a hair shady to me, although i doubt there is anything untoward going on. dunno, i have some time to think about it.
