It might be harder going to josh then I imagined. For a "hook up" from chrisfromnj's friend they still want alot of $$ to tow.

Talk to Josh, he might be able to help.
When you get the car down to him let me know, we can meet up for a bite to eat.

OUCH!
For the quality of work Josh does, his labor rate is dirt cheap. No AAA wayfast?

matt, jsut wait a while until you have some money saved up and then worry about getting the car over to josh. in the mean time get everything you have associated with the car that josh will need to work on together and in the car so you can make it a one trip deal.
worry about getting the tow in a month or two when you have some money saved up. it will make things much much easier for both of you.

I am not going to work there, My transportation cost will be damn near half of the check. Im looking into getting a moped. or just applying at the library, which would make me a geek.

Must not be very good pay if public transportation there and back will take half of your check.....

I decided, Im just gonna fix my bike and ride it there the two days i dont have a ride.
its not public, their are no bus's that go around there, it wouldve been a school bus, that dropped me off by the other school.
matt you HAVE to find a way to make it work.
once you and josh are ready and all that ill help ya with a tow for a small amount of $$ it will just have to happen on a weekday, since i work weekends

Matt, you should figure anyway you can to take that town job. The contacts/hookups could be great later in life, depending on what way you go (college, armed forces, etc.)

Just an FYI about using AAA:
I just had them tow my car last night. They were very adamant about NOT towing it from my house to the shop. Quote "We don't run a towing service, we run an emergency roadside service." You will have to make it look like a breakdown based on this...
