I am thinking about getting an X-Pipe for my Mustang. The SLP one is really nice but the $454 price tag kinda sucks. Does anyone have any expierience with Pypes products? They are selling a stainless steel catted x-pipe for like $250 which would work much better for my budget.

I know, I have a Mustang and shouldn't be asking on this board but all the best answers I have ever received were always from here.

Thanks!

I've bought stuff from them for my old 68 Camaro, my 70 Camaro, my 96 SS and had no problems with any of it.

Id say this is the wrong board to ask this question lol, but I frequent stang boards as well and from what I hear the quality isnt the best but it works...Theres a reasonably priced magnaflow peice along w/ prochambers at www.speedconcepts.net ..and www.ninosport.com has a reasonably priced bassani x.

How was the fitment? I would have a muffler shop put it in anyway but I would hope they wouldn't have to wrestle with it too much.

The fitment is probably fine, but id assume that living in jersey u would be going catted...heard a few people complain that the cat cover actually fell off, then ive heard some perfectly happy w/ it..You get what you pay for w/ performance parts...Id go w/ the ninosport bassani bx, free shipping which would offset the cost and a much better proven name. Plan on ordering from rpmoutlet?

i had a pypes X-pipe on my 87 mustang gt, it fit decent...hung lower than my BBK h-pipe did though, dunno why, never really messed with it. might be because of the dumps i had

Noah had them on his car for a while...but yeah i've heard people love them or hate them. The owner's son goes to Seton Hall with me.

Well, I wrote to the company to see if I need O2 harness extensions to fit my car. If they don't get back to me I will probably just wait awhile and buy the SLP X-Pipe.

Why not call them? It works so much better. 215-712-9982
