i am a Yankee fan, but i hate the ******* Mets!!!! Go Phillies!!! I might have to be on suicide watch on my uncle if the Mets miss the playoffs...:lol:

He looks like he's ready to play again, doesn't he? :lol: People had a grudge against him for the longest time, but I have to admit, he tells it like it is which is great nowadays.

The way the wild card teams are playing that is what's going to happen.

In typical Philly sports team fashion though they'll probably crush our hopes and dreams for a 3rd straight year.

Thank God! Now maybe I won't have to listen to my boss say how great a team the Mets have and how much better they are than the Yankees.

i think many of you are overlooking the fact that it is the phillies, a philadelphia based sports franchise. even if they manage to hold on for the last 4 games and make the playoffs, they are two weeks from trying to get a good tee time anyway.

i'm no philadelphia sports fan either. but making the playoffs sure beats not making it. i just want to see the mets choke!!!

i am jsut getting tired of all the phillies fans i work with. every time they lose the manager needs to get fired and every time they win they are destined for the world series. they have some good players for sure, but they aren't a consistant team and that is what it takes to be a champion.

being a yankee fan for my whole life i've always had this hatred for the mets. and to see them blow a 7 game lead w/17 to play is rediculus. but i loved every minute of it. theres only 1 baseball team in new york:lol:

Bah. The last time the Cubs won a seriees the Yanks had not won their first yet. At least the Phils have won a series in the past 99 years.

Yea, thats true, and I'm just poking fun, but the Cubs are looking pretty good this year, I'd watch out for them.
