tomorrow will be fun at work. everyone will be walking around like their dog got shot. lol
great pitching from the rockies today. starter through closer. top 4 phillies batters went 0 for 16. amazing stat against what is prolly the best top of the order in the majors.
i expect the phils to get back in it though. they are too explosive a team to be held down right now. heck, jsut look at how they went roaring through the last few weeks on teh season.

Yeah, just got back from the game and you could tell the top of the order wasn't right. But they need to be underdogs to perform so this sets the up perfectly for the 3 game sweep now. The pitching wasn't that bad so you can't blame them. 2 runs will not win you a game especially in the playoffs.

They'll be fine, they'll win today...well they better win, lol.

I'm still pissed at the 3:00 start and then the 10:00 starts. A big **** YOU to MLB. Nothing like having half the fan base miss the first playoff games in 14 years due to an afternoon start. Nice move putting 2 powerhouse teams in an afternoon game, knowing that the shadows on the field will screw with the hitters.

Yeah, back to back 3pm games is ridiculous and then the 10pm Sunday game! MLB sure showed it's true colors with this series scheduling.

Did you really expect them to win the World Series with sub-par pitching? C'mon. I'm a realist. I'm happy they're there. It's by no means over but lets face facts...they're playing a red hot Rockies team that shouldn't even be there :lol:

I'm more surprised their offense isn't a little better. What ever happened to Leiber? He was a great pitcher when he was in NY.

the phillies making the playoffs made me one camper :mrgreen: i hate the mets so much and they way the mets played they deserved to lose and philly deserved to win. it ain't over yet
