im surprised to see that some of them actually do know what they're talking about, and respect a v8.. at leatst they're right on with ls1s being deep into the 13s bone stock..

LT1: was in the '92-'96 Corvette, '93-'97 Camaro and Firebirds. The LT1 is part of the next generation of small block chevy called Gen 2

LS1: is a totaly different engine 100% redesigned from the old small block chevy v8s. Its found in the '97-present Corvettes and the '98-'03 Camaros and Firebird. It has a plastic/composite intake, indiviual coil packs insted of a distributor, evenly spaced inake and exaust ports. blah blah blah

he's pretty good except for the 98-03 comment

F-ing hilarious! I wonder whether the emphasis should be on "other" or on "fast." Sadly, I think "other." :rofl:

This makes me think back to high school when I was driving a 71 camaro with a bone stock mid-70s 350 in it. I thought it was fast until I rode in my friend's '68 Chevelle SS396. I sold my Camaro less than a month later and bought a 69 Camaro SS with a 70 LT-1 in it.

I feel sorry for this kid. Perhaps he just needs some "enlightenment."
