do you own a new pathfinder or QX4?

recall (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/recalls04/2007/nissan_pathfinder.html) for the gas filler tube. it sounds very unlikely that the perfect situation for corrosion will exist, ever, but i guess they are erring on the side of caution.

i used to work for nissan..... just make sure that the machanic attaches the filler back to the tank..... one of the "certified techs" didn't do that and spilled a crap load of gas at the super wawa..... it was bad lol
