I know it isn't f-body related but its pretty awsome
1973 Super Beetle 1.9 liter engine (pics to come this weekend!)
Dad picked it up real cheap ...... but it needs a lot of work!

I've seen a VW Bug convertible with a 454 in it. Apparently the big blocks have to be short deck style since they don't fit properly in the VW otherwise :shock:

more of an update...... got the thing smoking a little but no start...... my dad's old boss hasn't found the ingition key yet :evil:

Is that 1.9 a boxer engine, I know porsche and VW were intertwining things in their cars back then, hell they even hada car that was the same thing, I forget what VW called it but porsche called itthe 914, cool little cars too, and I think they had 1.9's in em. Either make that a road course car, or make it look like herbie, otherwise its not worth it personally lol.
