currently I have hooker super comp long tubes, mufflex ORY, and a magnaflow cat-back meant for 93-95 Z28's. I might have a clip somewhere, I'll look later today.

cool thanks for the replies. im thinking on finding a set of long tubes then into a 3 in flowmaster American thunder cat back. does anyone have a real clearance issues with long tubes? my car is stock height so i dont think there will be a problem.

if its your daily driver...you will have issues. long tubes are LOW...some people have trouble with shorties and stock height on a DD.

its not a dd by any means, just a weekend car, i have had shorties on it since i got it and never had a problem with clearance. the exhaust was the stock pos that hung low because whoever replaced it made some wrong bends so it has to go.

i replaced my cat with a straight pipe and replaced the stock muffler with a flowmaser 80 series its the cheapest way to go and it sounds great

i just put a 4" spintech catback on my car. sounds awesome. there are a few sound clips and a breakdown of brands, power-produced and decibel levels for most of the popular exhaust systems here: http://www.njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=29265

hooker super comp lt's with custom y pipe and mufflex 4" flowmaster

If you are going with the Mufflex catback, just get their y-pipe for the super comps too.

sweet, thanks for the help. looks like lt's are a possibility, i have always wanted them just didnt do enough research before i bought the shorties. the only problem is, i have vette heads i want to put on my 350 when i build it and dont really want to buy 2 sets of headers because they are d port and the heads on my 305 are oval. :/

speaking of, i have a q that was brought up on another board, has anyone put 350 heads ie vette heads #113 on a 305? not saying i want to but am curious of the outcome

thanks for the help so far :)
