I'll get pics in a lil bit, once it stops snowing. I do have to wrap the power steering lines, as with most PTK hotsides, you can boil the power steerign fluid. now i can either wrap or go synthetic (synthetic has higher boiling point), havent decided yet.

If you're interested, I have a billet radiator hold down shroud that would work perfectly for you. It has a couple of scratches that might buff out, but it should work for what you need. $45 and it's yours. The build looks good so far.

Here's what it looks like(this isn't my car). But I think it hold the radiator in the stock position as well. You might be able to redrill some holes to pull it forward. How far forward did you have to pull your radiator/condensor? I can do a trial fit if you want to see if will work pulled forward.

thanks man, yeah take a look, i mean i do have the polished shroud from the FIPK but i'd like to see what your looks like. I'll have to see how far but pretty much i have no a/c or fans in the car right now and i pulled it as far forward as i can.

could that turbo get any closer to the PS pulley lol, very nice GMC.

HaHa Thanks bro, yeah it's very VERY close and especially when you see it in person, you should see the mess of piping on drivers side all around the power steering lines. people have issues with boiling their PS fluid and melting driver's side motor mount, thats why prob over summer i'm gonna goto solid mounts.

that is something nice you have going on. if you ever go on vacation and need someone to carsit....don't ask me, that car won't sit for a second! no seriously good luck with it. vidsssss!!!!

thanks man, well i have the stock tune i'm adjusting for the new injectors and i'm going to make the appropriate adjustments for speed-density and for the boost, but i'm going to write the tune just enough to drive around, i'm going to get it dyno tuned once it's fully finished.

the first post in this thread i originally had some prices but i spent lots on custom fabbing stuff and also clamps, bolts, lots of belts, etc.. lol

i'd say between 3k and 4k if you don't include the 3500$ motor in there now, or the 1500 trans. lol

you could essentially modify a t56 with viper internals

and eric- if you want a t56, why not cut your losses and get one now. i'm sure you can get some of the guys to give you a hand once it gets warmer. you can't invest that much money in a car and then forget something important like that. put the money from the stage 5 rebuild and get yourself a nice rebuilt t56 and swap materials. especially since you said you haven't finished tuning. its the perfect time damnit!

i'd say stay with the auto trans. you can get one beefed up for just a coupla bills and then never have to worry about a missed shift. where you are now, power-wise, you'll have to always worry about the clutch with a manual setup. with the auto, no clutch, now worries. stay auto.

It moves! i think the race between you and bubba to finish their cars is over. Now if we could hear something other than the BOV it'd be even better :) Did you do an electric conversion too?

sucks because i don't have a empty road to test the car on, only my driveway which is why i let off so soon into boost, also as to not leave marks because this thing just pulls.

Check out the ATS twin turbo setup, they make a custom radiator support that looks like it would work perfect for you. They tilt the top of the radiator inwards and mount the intercooler in front of it, and they make all the brackets for the new radiator position.
