I have an 87 IROC that I have been building for 2 1/2 years. It is almost completed after a huge investment of time and money.
New Jersey just changed their rules to register a car as a classic.
I have to submit proof and show that a limited number of these vehicles were made.
My understanding is that GM did not make very many 87 IROC Z-28's with a 5.7 and T tops.
Does anyone know what site to go to to check out this information.
Thanks for you help.

If your car was built in Canada you can get a sheet from GM Vintage Vehicle services that will probably contain the information you need in addition to looking very convincing. It costs around $50.

No guarantees of it working, however it's documentation from GM...

Only 4th gens were built in Canada...an '87 would have been either Norwood or Van Nuys.

We know about the problem with the new Collectors Registration rules, if you do a search in here in the Lounge you'll find a few threads over the last few months with a bunch of information. We have already contacted the SEMA Action Network for their thoughts, but haven't heard back from them yet.
