that new hyunduh commercial theme, where they say "duh" throughout the commercial. supposed to make you feel stupid if you drive anything but a hyunduh. i just laugh, thinking they're all saying "duh" because they drive a hyunduh...

I laugh because no matter what they say about quality they still had trouble double flaring brake lines a few years ago.

not only did they have a problem with brakes, but remember when they first started out? no motor was safe from blowing up 3 ft out of the factory, thats why they put mitsubishi motors in them for a long long time....but i dont think its very insulting, it does make a good point....ya know you can buy a stock lexus for the same price as a loaded toyota, same model....but the lexus just has better leather and fake wood dash trim lol and christ (i dont know why you would buy either unless youre a stay at home mom with 1 kid that you need to pick up from school and drop off and go to the grociery store or let your husband borrow it to pick up a bag of mulch cuz it wont fit in his bimmer) the escalade.....ohhhhh man you got an escalade.........for the same price as a suburban that you can put rims on and whatever else you want to make it a "pimp ride" like the escalade, or the escalade truck thing....and you cant buy an avalanche?? like i said that commecial doesnt offend me at all, at my house we have realized that we dont need an escalade with a 350 vortec that can hardly haul its own fat *** or a suburban to do the same, we dont need a lexus that can parallel park itself....no, we just use the car that we have until we cant use it anymore, and i'm not talking about ghetto, i have an 87 trans am that ijust repainted and am going to re-do the motor to put a 350 in it (yeah, i know i contradict myself about that whole 350 vortec thing lol) my brother has a van that was given to him after his truck blew the tranny and a whole mess of stuff in the mud pit and my dad has a chevy s10 pickup instead of his 89 cheyenne with a 350 vortec and my mom, a mini van.....which brings me to another point (yeah i know im venting now)
why the hell do you need an SUV like an escalade, suburban, expedition, or wtf an excursion when you obviously dont have any kids and you obviously cant drive the thing cuz its like driving a camper around when you can get a mini van if you really need that 7 person seating? it just doesnt make any sense to me...i wish it did but no matter how i look at it the only reason why you need a truck like that over a mini van is for 2 reasons........1, maybe you have a boat, or need to tow stuff? or 2....maybe you go 4wheeling?? i dont know but for the price tag on these cars just to drive little jimmy or little jaimie to school or to the mall to go to abercrombe or somewhere liek that where a pair of cut up pants is 150 dollars (yes, 1 pair) so that they look good for their 7th grade friends, then hopefully youre doing something fun with your SUV rather than just admiring the horrible gas mileage while you drive to the mall or drive your son/daughter in their own personal school bus to school

I dunno. My first "Car purchase" loanwise was a Scoupe. 91 5 speed. Car was great aside from the lack of balls. I couldnt find a turbo one so I settled. Car was great aside from a bad clutch slave.
The new Sonata... What a great looking sedan. The car looks good, has a great warranty and is overall dependable from what Ive seen. Back in their beginning they were **** cars hands down. Now, you can get a fully loaded sedan that rivals the big money makers for half the price.
On a side note I sell parts for a living and in the last 2 years the only Hyundai parts Ive been called on are regular tune up parts.

oh im not saying that hyundais are fast or that they are "rice-able" but like they said in their old commercials over the summer time when they compared a sedan against the lexus that can parallel park itself....the hyundai was like 1 second slower salom speed and like a bit slower on the drag slip but added at the end "but the lexus can parallel park itself..." and the hyundai santa fe or whatever that out performed the land rover then they added "but the land rover did have more cup holders...." i mean they have come a long way and i personally think that the commecial makes good sense, this car is now a pretty dependable and pretty good looking car, you can get one for like 20k pretty loaded or you can get a pretty loaded mercedes for like what....40 grand?? or like 35 for a bimmer, i mean, i just dont get the point or need for a mercedes or a lexus or a hummer or an escalade like seriously? whats the need, i got my t/a for 1700 dollars and i bought it when i was in highschool and sold my nissan stanza (which was a suprisingly good car lol) for 1900 lol and if anyone thinks that their 50k mercedes is such a greatly designed car...i would say try racing against a stock 02 celica GTS, my gf has one and holy crap i have never seen a car perform that well aroudn turns, i mean sure i can beat it in a straight run or very light turns but that celica can beat me in any turn really...and dont mention the greatness of "german engineering".......look at VW's for instance...my friend has a 98 passat and wowwww, that is such a piece of crap and everything is way overcharged cuz its 'german engineering" and i personally think its rediculous and price for cars are way outta hand, i mean come on, you can get a roll's royce phantom for 300,000 dollars!!!!! WTF???? (and yes my friends dad had one and i was not very impressed) and sure it has a 12 cylinder engine, but when do you need that? lol and for that 300,000 dollars why not make a real investment, rather thatn spend it on a car that loses value as soon as it leaves the lot....why not a house? lol and then take the money that you'd put in that car for gas and put it in the house and then sell it lol there ya go, easy money, and i'd assume that if youre buying a 12 cyl roll's royce, then you have anotehr car to drive on the side lol

i know it doesnt....but i mean, cars today are so expensive, and they have such horrible gas mileage (i'm talking about suv's mainly) and its not like you ever see someone with all 7 passengers in that thing...its just the mom and her son.....i live in brielle (right next to manasquan and point pleasant incase you dont know where it is) and there is a woman, with a hummer H1, and 3 kids in car seats adn all she does is drive them around, to the mall, to the beach, what have you....and to me, thats just ridiculous, and i have seen so many drivers like this too
