as you sit down with family and friends this holiday season i would like to ask everyone to take a moment to think about those serving our nation overseas. it is tough to comprehend what it could feel like to be seperated by thousands of miles from the safety and cheer of home during the holidays.
no matter if you agree with the reasons for our soldiers deployment or not, i ask that you understand the personal sacrifices made by these men and women each day.

I think about them every damn night I go to bed, partly because of them we all have the things we have.

I've been deployed many times during christmas, new years, and thanksgiving.......it absolutely sucks.
