Anyone here intrested in going to a dyno? Theres a place in South Amboy that runs a dyno. IIRC it was 50 for 3 pulls, 75 with AF (Could be 75/100, I forget). The more we get to go the cheaper. I have a HSR I want to install, but Id like to get a base dyno before I do.

Ive talked to Kat about it and he is willing to go. If you're intrested post up. Id put this in a specific forum but all of NJ is welcome so...

Just an idea.

We do a dyno day each year at our club sponsor, TTP in Passaic. It is a great day with the whole club together, a huge spread of food(TTP Mom and TTP Grandma rule!!!), we get to see all of the cool TTP projects(which will include a bunch of cool race car builds now), and chat with the TTP staff about ideas for our cars.
All of the TTP dyno days include 3 power pulls with wideband O2 and a full printout of your your power and A/F curves.
We don't have the date or pricing for the NJFBOA Dyno Day 2008. We know it will be in May.

talk to TTP before you lock in with whatever the shop is that you are looking at. extra charges for the A/F reading doesn't sound like much of a deal. maybe TTP can give you a better hook up.

I couldnt see TTP dynoing me for 50 or less. Im in Old Bridge/South Amboy, and they are in Passaic. 1" drop Eibach's with KYB's makes for a rough journey to N Jersey with our road dept coupled with the gas prices. This palce is 5 mins from me. They are more specific to the FOX bodies but he said he will gladly welcome a group of F bodies, or my Mothers trailblazer.

If the board does something in May, Ill definately take a cruise up being the HSR should be on by then but for now, its close.

Tim suggested it because TTP normally does group dyno days for $50 (3-4 power pulls, with a/f). I don't know how large of a group you'd need to get the discount price though.

Gotcha, and thats a good price but many like me might not want to wait. Im going regardless. Just threw this out there to see if anyone else might be intrested aside from Kat.

Let me know what you guys would want to put together. I would definitely be interested, we do 4 pulls WITH wideband for $50 on our dyno days..

Do you allow people (aka me) to screw with the tune at all between pulls? Im only interested in screwing arround with my car and Kirks. Thats it for the time being.

We can work something out if you guys want a rental too.

But, during a dyno day I do allow a little bit if it can be quick. I can keep it this way for everyone else that dyno's because we have a lot of cars to get done in a little time. And usually something breaks when NJFBOA comes !!!! lol
