Nice.

Is it just me, or do most of the all-out shows focus on a mid 9 second field?

ha. they make you pay for a permanent number. thats not a bad money making scheme. charge an extra $5 for the first time EVERY person comes in to race..

I've been thinking about entering a trying out, but I don't really like racing at e-town (island all the way :))

we'll see even if I don't enter I'll probably at least go watch, should be interesting.

I have raced at e-town plenty, and the guys at tech let me make up a number.

I never purchased a number but have always used the same one for years!

I wouldn't mind going to E-town for that. I never had a problem with that track, always ran my best times there.

A lot of them do, but I just watched one yesterday that was a 10.90 field.

I'm sure they will always get a more closely matched field of cars in the quicker ET ranges due to there being far more 10.0, 9.5, etc index races then 12.0 and up indexes. I think that just means that more cars will show up to race that are around a certain ET.

I dunno where James found this information, but they recently did a 12.0 or 12.5 field. Don't think it's aired yet though.

I cant stand the regular pinks. hand drops and car lengths= rice IMO. But all out is not too bad. They tend to have some pretty nice cars on there and they focus on racing, not BS.

personally; i like the "ALL-OUT" events way better then the regular ones. I mean c'mon; if i stand a chance (a 50% chance) of losing my car, i'm racing "straight up". No "lengths", no "ill run 1 stage of NOS, you run both...", bla bla bla. Eff, that. B/c when these ppl lose, they don't really lose b/c their car wasn't at 100%.

the only issue with the "all out" ones is that if your car can't run into the high 9's low 10's; you're SOL.

if i can get my car in the 10s ill go. eh, ill probably go anyway. who knows, maybe my car will be on tv. it would be cool anyway to go and see some of the cars racing.

i mean to me it takes the fun outa it. it is like if your car isn't in the 9's or 10's it is pointless to even try.

Why do you say that? They pick the closest set of times for each show. I mean, if you have a 14 second warrior, then chances are good you won't make the cut, but there have been classes besides the 9.0, 9.5, 10.0, etc. (just not as often).
