Hey whats up guys, haven't posted on these forums in a while but i am looking for a some one who can install a rear differential, or gears and a new cover in my fathers 2006 GTO...the rear whines at 40 to 50 mph and at 50 to 40 mph
He wants this work done, but like me has had a lot of bad experience with local "speed" shops here in central NJ (not mentioning names)
If anyone can recommend a nice shop that is reliable, trust worthy, and does quality work please let me know, he is willing to drive a reasonable distance as well...
I know its a long shot, but its worth askin!
Thanks, take it easy

I also second a vote for Josh @ JSPerformance. He built my motor from the ground up and did an A++ job. I live in North Jersey and it was worth the hour & half trip to bring my car over the boarder into PA. He is a great guy who is very passionate about his work and is a car guy like all of us here.

I have nothing but bad things to say about Cartek. I'd say avoid them like the plague.

Nope, it was a 99 T/A. If you would like details PM me, otherwise I dont want to get off topic. :)
I know some people have been happy with them, but based on my experiences I would not recomend them.

JSPerformance and TTP are both reputable companies and great supporters of the NJFBOA. depends where you want to drive to.
josh, jsperformance, is right across the rt95 bridge, about 15 mins into PA, hulmeville, pa.
matt, TTP, is about an hour north in passaic, nj. straight up the NJTP.

Camarorsss350 did you want the whole center section replaced or did you want the one in the car rebuilt with new gears and a different posi unit? Either way is fine I was just a little confused exactly of what you were asking about..
