LOL, ok not really but I seem to be picking up either an HD radio transmission or something along those lines. My speakers are on and I'm not playing any music but I hear it coming out the speakers very softly. Anyone else ever have this problem. Jesus christ, no pun intended, but i'm listening really good and it sounds like a frigging religious channel.
Am I that much of a bible bashing heathen that they have targeted my computer. Grrr. how the hell can I get rid of this? New speakers???

could be interference from another electronic near by.. my home phone used to do it to my PC speakers
or you could just buy new speakers

Yes, I have had that happen before. I had a set of the amplified speakers for a computer and WRAT out of Belmar would bleed through (I lived about a mile away). I know not why. Replacement speakers did not have the same problem, so it was something in the speakers.

 Ive had that happen once before it was at rutgers and i would pick up either cell phone calls or regular line calls through a pair of wireless headphones I had. Over the summer the day we left for outer banks, I was at my buddies house we were all gettin ready to leave checking over the truck and stuff, I clicked on my CB radio and so did my buddy, making sure they worked and his brother was on his laptop in the house, the laptop speakers picked up our whole CB conversation.

Haha...as crazy as it sounds, a friend of mine in HS had a musical doorbell with a speaker in his parent's house that used to occasionally pick up air traffic communications.

Yeah a guy I work with has one of those dewalt radios that uses one of there portable batteries. Every so often you get air traffic control coming over it. Then a couple minutes later a plane flies overhead.

Had it happen with a set of old $20.00 speakers for my computer.
Friends Guitar amp picked up a Spanish radio station pretty good and couldn't get rid of it.... but the $2000.00 Home Theater couldn't pickup a slightest signal from it. Go figure

A few days late, but I'm guessing that your speakers are relatively cheap and not shielded. Get a better set that are, and you won't have that problem anymore.

you saying I'm cheap??? Hmmm Hmmm well are you??? LOL
I don't know how cheap they are, but they are old. I bought them with a computer but they are pretty good as far as sound goes. 2 speakers and a sub. I have other more pressing issues that I have to worry about a few amens don't really bother me, but my dads issue was much worse. Actual radio commercials would play at full blast and then stop. It was really weird I think he DL'd a virus or something so it's being cleaned out.
