Because driving in London costs a bazillion $$, you only seem to see cabs and expensive cars. I saw a number of ferarris. And many of these:

The arena is called the O2, (O2 is a cell phone company). It was called the Millineum Dome. The place is bascially an arena with a mall aro8und it, all covered by a big tent. The mall is all restaurants. The big yellow towers are supports for the tent/roof. A pretty neat place.
A public skating rink outside the arena.

A look down the mall.

Outside the arena is open year round, even if there are no events. They had the King Tut exhibit going too. Really neat place.

Yeah, it is a real neat place. So many interesting old buildings. And that survived WWII bombing.

I took a side trip to the RAF Museum. Very cool, and very large. A few large buildings full of all sorts of planes and helicopters. Similar to the new Air & Space Museum Annex in Virginia.

The remnants of a British bomber taken from the bottom of a large lake in Scandivia. A Liberator IIRC. I think it is a I saw a special on this plane on History Channel a few months ago.
They had a number of planes in 'as found' condition. Many impressive displays, but this one was the best. And humbling, knowing men died in that plane.

Very cool. London is a very fun city. That German plane is an Me-262, the first ever jet plane. It could outfly everything else at the time, and if Hitler would have listened to his advisors and used it as a fighter/attack plane, people say the outcome in Europe might have been different, but he decided not to use it to its potential and only used a handful of them.
The O2 place is pretty fun. They built that for new years 2000.
meghan says post more pics, and yes thats parlament building

You can tune a lot of the boom out of them, but they sound great in the studio. Another good drum sound is the epoxy drum technique used by bands like Iron Butterfly.
