...and what a relief that was! I had a bad feeling this morning, and thought for sure they'd find something to fail it for. The guy actually backed it up and did the slam-on-the-brakes thing twice, and I thought that couldn't be good. But nope, it passed at 155,000 miles. If I can get another 2 years out of it, or at least be able to sell it with a valid sticker, I'll be more than happy!

My 02 failed in October with 120k miles.
I had an exhaust leak coming from the manifold. Something we found out is common for my car.

i love it when a beater passes. I was the happiest guy in the world when my little protege went through inspection with flyin colors. Multi-colored front fender, zip ties holding the license plate on and cross eyed headlghts and she still passed. Nice!

No, didn't miss anything. It's just far from a stellar piece of finely tuned machinery, and definitely has it's quirks, squeaks and rattles. You never know what those inspection guys will find and fail you for. I'm just glad I don't have dump any $$ into it unless something goes wrong.

I think my camry with 185K is on it's last leg. I got an exhaust leak from the manifold.. breaks are cuttin out, it doesn't always go into gear anymore and the door locks LOVE to jam... *sigh*
